El pasado 4 de junio, en Magenta (Milan, Italia) se celebró el 150 aniversario de la batalla de Magenta. Fue un conflicto entre Francia y Austria en la guerra Franco- Piamontesa durante la segunda guerra de independencia de Italia (1859-1861).
Para este evento, la ciudad de Magenta preparo varios acontecimientos. hEn el que Había más gente que nunca para poder contemplarlos. Tomaron parte más de 350 recreadores, 22 caballos y 12 cañones.
El Gruppo Storico Generale Cler estuvo en contacto con la asociación de veteranos del 2º Regimiento de Zuavos, y se les invitó a Magenta para el 150 aniversario para su participación como Zuavos reales, también habían veteranos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Vietnam y Argelia.
El 24 de junio en Magenta el Gruppo Storico Generale Cler tuvieron un encuentro con la Legión Extranjera del Ejercito Francés (Legion Etranger) y marcharon juntos en el desfile de Magenta.
El pasado 27 de Junio el Gruppo Storico Generale Cler participo en el 150 aniversario de la Cruz Roja en Solferino y el 28 de Junio participaron junto a otros grupos de recreación histórica, en el acontecimiento histórico de la batalla de San Martino y Solferino.
El próximo 14 de julio el Gruppo Storico Generale Cler estará en la embajada francesa de Milán, para celebrar la fiesta nacional francesa.
